The Incredible Years® is an award-winning training program for children, parents and teachers. Selected as a model program by CSAP and recommended by the American Psychological Division 12 Task Force.
The Incredible Years® certification is recommended for public health professionals, early interventionists, early childhood teachers, Early Head Start providers, home visitors, family service workers, and others who work with parents or other caregivers of children.

The Incredible Years® Parent Programs help parents meet the social and emotional needs of young children. The programs strengthen parenting skills and fosters involvement in children’s lives to promote children’s academic, social and emotional competencies and reduce conduct problems.

In the Parents and Babies Program, parents learn how to help their babies feel loved, safe, & secure and encourage their babies’ physical and language development.
Preview of the Child Program
The Incredible Years® Child Program curriculum strengthens children’s social, emotional and academic competencies such as understanding and communicating feelings, using effective problem solving strategies, managing anger, practicing friendship and conversational skills, as well as appropriate classroom behaviors. The child training program can be used by counselors or therapists to treat “difficult” and highly aggressive children in small groups or can be used by teachers as a prevention program for an entire classroom of students.

The Incredible Years® Teacher program helps teachers strengthen classroom management strategies, promote children’s prosocial behavior and reduce classroom aggression. The program can be useful for teachers, teacher aides, psychologists, school counselors, and any school personnel working with young children.
